Tuesday, January 31 Afternoon Weather
TODAY: It will be slightly cooler but still nice for the end of January as temperatures this afternoon warm there way into the lower 50s. Partly cloudy skies will greet us along with a northwesterly breeze of 6-10 mph. It looks to be more breezy for those north of I-70 where winds could gust from 20-25 mph through 5PM.
TONIGHT: Clouds look to be on the increase with winds becoming northerly overnight. The wind looks to be calm overnight with temperatures falling slowly. Temperatures look to be in the low 50s still at 5PM, falling to 40 by 9PM. Temperatures look to dip near 30-32 by early Wednesday morning.
EXTENDED: Temperatures cool more for Wednesday with high temperatures in the low 40s, dropping to the mid 30s Thursday and Friday as colder air settles in. A storm system passing to our south this weekend will bring a chance of a wintry mix. Rain is expected to develop Saturday afternoon and evening in the Ozarks and spread north overnight, changing to snow and possible freezing drizzle, north of I-70 and ending early Sunday. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 40s on Saturday and Sunday. We will be tracking this throughout the week giving you the latest details as we get new information.
