Driver taken to hospital after alcohol related crash

Columbia Police responded to a single-car crash off westbound I-70 in Columbia around 2:25 a.m. Saturday.

Law enforcement was at the scene for about an hour.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
