Jefferson City police warn of magazine scam
Jefferson City police warned residents Friday about a scam involving The Boys and Girls Club.
The Jefferson City Police Department posted the warning to its Facebook page saying The Boys and Girls Club filed a report with officers.
A group of people have allegedly been soliciting magazine sales for the organization.
Police advise people always verify the source when charitable donations are requested.
