ABC 17 News reached out to local doctors to see what’s making you sick this week. The doctors from Broadway Urgent Care said many patients are coming in with upper respiratory infections. These types of infections are very common, with the Mayo Clinic saying there are more than 3 million cases reported every year. Symptoms include sore throat, coughing, sneezing and a stuffy nose. Doctors also say the flu is going around this week. The flu season has been gradually picking up in mid-Missouri. If you are starting to feel achy and tired and you have a fever, it might be good to visit your doctor’s office.
