Car shot near Capital Region Medical Center
ABC 17 News confirmed with Jefferson City police at least one car was hit with a bullet Monday near the Capital Region Medical Center.
The department took reports of unknown people shooting at each other in the area around 12:20 p.m., but officers are still working to confirm details. They tell ABC 17 News the investigation remains ongoing, and anyone who has information is urged to call law enforcement.
Officials say several shell casings were found near the hospital parking lot, but so far, no one has reported any injuries. Detectives are actively working the case.
