Four arrested after armed robbery on Alpine Drive
According to a press release from the Columbia Police Department, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in the area of Alpine Drive and Mexico Gravel Road.
Three victims were driving in a car when they were flagged down by a black male on Alpine Drive. Once the victims stopped their car, three more black males approached the car.
The victims reported that two of the black males had guns and demanded them to get out of the car. The victims said they got out of the car, and two of the three victims had property stolen from them. The suspects then ran off towards the 3100 block of Alpine Drive.
When officers arrived in the area, they saw a vehicle trying to leave. Before officers could stop the vehicle, the males got out and took off running. Officers saw the suspects run into 3102 Alpine Drive Apartment G. All of the males cam out of the apartment and were identified by the victims.
One of the handguns recovered was reported stolen from a local burglary in 2014. Dantrell Nash-Jeter, 23, and Walter Nash , 21, both from Columbia, were arrested for first degree robbery.
Keaveon Harris, 17, and Jeremy Nash, 18, both from Columbia, were arrested for first degree robbery and armed criminal action. They were identified as two of the suspects with a gun.
