Mexico man charged with attempted murder after Sunday shooting
A Mexico man has been charged with second-degree attempted murder for a weekend shooting.
ABC 17 News reported Daryl Richardson was arrested Sunday after the Mexico Public Safety Department said he got into an argument with a man and shot him twice when the man was walking away.
The wounded man was taken to University Hospital and has since been released.
Richardson has been charged with second-degree attempted murder, armed criminal action and first degree assault.
A hearing for Richardson is scheduled for January 20 at the Audrain County Courthouse.
