Caleb Jones selected as Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor-elect Greitens

On Tuesday, Governor-elect Eric Greitens announced State Representative Caleb Jones will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff when the Governor-elect takes office next Monday.

“While we will miss Caleb’s leadership as a member of the Missouri House, his deep understanding of policy, strategy and the legislative process will be of great service to the governor-elect and the people of our state,” said House Speaker Todd Richardson

Jones began serving in the Missouri House in 2011, representing southern Boone County and parts of Cole, Moniteau and Cooper counties.

“Serving my constituents in the Missouri House has been the greatest honor of my public service and I am proud of what we have achieved together for my district and our state in the legislature,” said Rep. Jones. “For me, this was about answering Governor-elect Greitens’ call to service and joining an administration that will have a real positive impact on Missouri families.

Jones went on to say he looks forward to advancing the Governor-elect’s plans to create more higher-paying jobs, safer streets and better schools for the state.

A special election will be held to replace Jones. In the interim, a capitol office dedicated to constituent services for members of his district will remain active.
