Roll-over crash closes Richland Road

A single-vehicle crash closed both directions of Richland Road near St. Charles Road around 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

The car reportedly flipped, and officials on scene believe the narrowness of the road may have caused the driver to over-correct on a curve.

The driver of the car was trapped initially but not injured. She is now out of the car and complaining only of some upper-body pain.

Crews have shortened the amount of road closed since the driver is safe and are waiting on a tow truck to take the vehicle from the scene.

At one point, reports showed 10 units on the scene.
