Monday Evening, December 19

TONIGHT: Skies stay clear again overnight. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid teens with south winds at 6-8 mph and single digit wind chills.

TUESDAY: Skies will be sunny with temperatures going above freezing and high temperatures in the upper 30s north of I-70 to low 40s at the Lake of the Ozarks and southwesterly winds at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: We’ll continue to see a warming pattern carry us through this week, with highs topping out in the low to mid 40s through Friday. Practically all of this week will remain dry, but watching our next system take shape as we head into the Christmas weekend. There looks to be a chance for rain starting Friday night and increasing by Sunday. Due to temperatures in the 40s during the day, and night time temperatures in the mid 30s, we’re primarily looking at rain. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
