Thursday Evening, December 8

TONIGHT: It stays cold overnight with a clear sky as temperatures drop to the lower teens. A wind chill overnight will fall to the single digits by 10PM until 9AM Friday morning.

FRIDAY: It will be sunny but continues frigid with high temperatures only reaching the upper 20s to near 30. The northwest breeze will stay light at 3-6 mph.

EXTENDED: After a cold, clear morning with lows in the upper teens, clouds will increase Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 30s and an increasing southerly breeze up to 12 mph. Another low pressure system tracks across Missouri Sunday bringing a chance for rain to those south of I-70 and possible a rain/snow mix to those north through Sunday evening. Temperatures will reach the upper 30s Sunday but could hover close to freezing by evening with a chance of slick roads. High temperatures stay in the upper 30s through Monday with another blast of arctic air on the way by Tuesday afternoon, dropping temperatures into the single digits to lower teens Tuesday night and highs only reaching near 20 Wednesday.
