Wednesday Evening, December 7

TONIGHT: Snow flurries end by early evening as arctic air moves in bringing the coldest temperatures of the season. Temperatures will fall into the mid-teens by morning as skies clear. The northwesterly breeze will increase to 12 mph by morning, producing wind chils of 0-5 through 8 AM.

THURSDAY: We’ll have sunny skies but it will be frigid with morning temperatures in the teens and wind chills starting off from 0-5 degrees as northwesterly winds increase to 15 mph. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the mid 20s, feeling more like the teens with the wind.

EXTENDED: Wind chills will drop into the single digits again early Friday morning with morning lows in the low teens and afternoon highs in the upper 20s. Clouds move in Saturday as high temperatures reach the upper 30s and we finally make it above freezing. Another cold front will bring a chance of rain and snow starting late Saturday night into Sunday morning. high temperatures stay in the upper 30s through Monday with another blast of arctic air on the way by the middle of next week.
