Woman crashes into Dillards at Capital Mall

On Wednesday officers from the Jefferson City Police Department responded to Dillards at the Capital Mall for a motor vehicle crash.

Florence Dudenhoeffer, 88, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape and traveled across the parking lot, struck a curb and then crashed into the southwest corner of Dillards. The crash occurred when the Dudenhoeffer’s foot became stuck on the accelerator and she was not able to stop her vehicle.

There was damage to the exterior and interior section of Dillards, but no one was injured in the crash.
