Rolla man sentenced for heroin possession

A judge sentenced a Rolla man to 12 years in prison for possession of heroin with intent to distribute.

Fifty-seven-year-old Charles “Skip” Faulkner Jr. pleaded guilty to the felony charge Monday.

South Central Drug Task Force officers, along with other agencies, searched a home in Phelps County. They say they found Faulkner with several baggies of heroin, as well as items commonly used in the sale of illegal drugs.

Prosecutors say Faulkner has a long criminal history with multiple prior felony convictions for drug-related offenses and property crimes.
