Fire damages Boone County home in Trails West neighborhood
A Boone County home was left damaged after a fire Wednesday night. It happened on Northwest Court in the Trails West neighborhood.
Firefighters on the scene said the residents came home to find smoke coming from the house and called 911.
“We don’t know a cause yet,” said Scott Olsen with the Boone County Fire Protection District. “We kind of know an area where the fire was, which was in the living room area on a couch, but we don’t have an exact cause yet.”
Damage costs have not yet been determined.
