Rail car knocked off tracks in Centralia

An accident at the MFA Exchange in Centralia Sunday afternoon was heard throughout various areas of the city.

According to the Centralia Police Department, two engineers were setting rail cars at the MFA Exchange when a car was knocked completely off the tracks. The exact cause is unclear, but a photograph provided to ABC17 shows significant damage to the car. There were no injuries sustained during the incident.

MFA Exchange Manager, Jim Gessling, told ABC 17 that there was no damage to any of his company’s property.
