Lincoln University president looks toward the future

Lincoln University in Jefferson City is facing possible layoffs.

As ABC 17 News reported last week, Governor Jay Nixon says he will withhold one million dollars in matching land-grant state funding due to Missouri revenue growth concerns.

This also comes at a time when enrollment is down and only a quarter of LU students will graduate. Here’s a link to ABC 17’s special report by Jefferson City Bureau Chief Joe McLean.
