Police investigating possible armed robbery at Columbia gas station

Columbia Police Officers were called to the Break Time gas station at the corner of Paris Road and Vandiver Drive Sunday afternoon for reports of an armed robbery.

The victim told police he was approached by a black male in his 20s outside of the gas station. The victim said the man demanded his money and showed him a handgun.

Police said the victim wasn’t hurt. The suspect was last seen leaving the Break Time in a green car.

As of 3 p.m. officers were working to look at the gas station’s security cameras.
