Deputies arrest man on suspicion of assaulting roommate
A Columbia man is facing assault and weapons charges after allegedly getting into a fight with his roommate.
Boone County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Sones, 43, Friday. Authorities said Sones hit his roommate in the head with a baseball bat during an argument.
Sones was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He’s currently being held in the Boone County jail on a $10,000 bail.
