Wednesday Morning November 23

TODAY: An overcast sky is expected through much of the morning with milder morning temperatures in the upper 40s/low 50s. There is a chance of light rain by 7AM near HWY 65 and in central Mid-Missouri near Columbia by 9AM. Any rain that falls will only amount to a few hundredths of an inch of rain. Temperatures will be dropping in the afternoon thanks to a cold front that is sweeps through by then. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with clouds breaking up tonight.

TONIGHT: Expect a northwest breeze through this evening, bringing a wind chill in the mid 40s by 5PM, and to the upper 30s by 11PM. Overnight will bring temperatures 15 degrees colder, and near normal again to the mid 30s with a wind chill early Thursday morning near 30-32.

EXTENDED: After a chilly morning tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day looks partly cloudy with highs in the mid 50s and increasing clouds by evening. Shoppers will have a chilly morning for Black Friday as temperatures start off in the mid to upper 30s, reaching the low 50s in the afternoon. The dry, cool weather continues into Saturday with highs in the mid 50s for the start of the weekend and upper 50s Sunday. Another storm system will bring an increasing chance of rain Sunday which could linger into early Monday of next week. It is looking likely for all rain with this next system.
