Three suspects in Fulton home invasion and robbery, two still at large
On November 21, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a home invasion and robbery that occurred on the 5000 block of Red Maple Lane just south of Fulton.
Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with the assistance of Fulton Police Department officers, investigated leads and determined that three black male suspects had committed the home invasion and the robbery.
Officers arrested Wendell Steward, 19, of Fulton near the Carver Park in Fulton.
On November 22, 2016, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Steward with several felony crimes, including robbery, burglary and armed criminal action. Steward is in jail without bond.
On November 23, 2016, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Lorenzo Kemp, 18, of Fulton with several felony crimes, including robbery, burglary and armed criminal action. Kemp is still at large.
The third suspect in the matter has been identified as a 16 year old male from Fulton. He is also still at large.
One of the robbery victims had been taken by personal vehicle to the nearby Fulton Medical Center for moderate injuries sustained during the robbery. The victim has since been released from the hospital.
