MU ALERT: Suspicious device found near Hill Hall
UPDATE 11:52 a.m.: The suspicious device has been deemed a party favor or “party popper” by witnesses. MUPD has confirmed there were confetti canons that had gone off earlier this week and the suspicious device looked similar to that of the canon.
The Bomb Squad has cleared the campus and are furthering their investigation of the object at a secure location.
MUPD tells our crews they do not suspect the object to be of any harm.
UPDATE 10:02 a.m.: A robot has been deployed by authorities.
