Morgan County toddler tests positive for meth

A Morgan County detective was contacted Tuesday by the Department of Children Services about a 2-year-old child who tested positive for methamphetamine.

On Nov. 10, deputies and detectives searched a home on Green Hills road after a woman and her child failed to show up for a hair follicle test with the Missouri Department of Children Services.

Detectives were informed the child supposedly had access to meth.

Deputies searched the home and found Jennifer Mullies, Jimmy Lang, Kelsey West, and West’s 2-year-old child. They say they also found marijuana, a smoking pipe and a bag of meth.

Deputies arrested the three people and the child was placed into the custody of children services.
