Sexual assault reported on MU campus

The University of Missouri Police Department is investigating a possible sex offense that happened sometime in the early morning hours Friday.

MUPD said the alleged assault was reported to the department just after 4 p.m. Friday.

A female victim said she was assaulted by an unknown man in the area of Dobbs dining hall off Kentucky Boulevard sometime between 1:45 and 8 a.m.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Detective Sam Easley at (573) 884-3721 or CRIME STOPPERS at (573) 875-8477 to remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted online at 875tips.com.

MUPD said people may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500 if the information leads to an arrest.
