Saturday Morning, November 19

TODAY: The combination of windy conditions and colder temperatures will make for a cold start to your Saturday. Temperatures will only increase to the upper 40s under clear skies. The blustery conditions won’t start subsiding until the afternoon. So expect winds around 13-17 mph with gusts as high as 22 mph and later dying down to around 6 mph out of the NW. By tonight, Mid-Missouri will be experiencing a hard freeze as temperatures reach the lower 30s by tonight and continue to plummet into the morning.

SUNDAY: Early morning temperatures will be in the mid 20s, so definitely have a coat handy if you will be outside at all. Conditions will remain dry and sunny with temperatures reaching a slightly warmer high in the lower 50s. Winds will remain gentle at 6 mph out of the SE.

EXTENDED: High temperatures stay in the 50s most of next week with rain likely Tuesday, moving out early Wednesday morning. Our most recent tracking shows a mostly sunny Thanksgiving with highs in the upper 50s. The potential for rain on Friday seems to have weakened, leading to a dry and sunny Black Friday.
