Columbia to host homelessness summit

The City of Columbia is hosting an effort to develop strategies intended to reduce, or end, homelessness both locally and beyond.

The 2016 Columbia-Boone County Homelessness Summit will get underway Friday at 1:00 p.m., and will wrap Friday at noon, at the Columbia City Hall.

The keynote speakers include Linda Kaufman of City Solutions in New York, along with Sarah Buss and Jason McRoy from the Boulder County, CO Office of Housing and Human Services.

The speakers will be presenting from 6:30-9:30 p.m Thursday.

The public is encouraged to attend.
