Tuesday Evening, October 15

TONIGHT: It looks mostly clear with light winds again. We’ll keep an eye on fog developing again late in low areas such as Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks. We’ll have a light westerly wind tonight with low temperatures in the low to mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY: After a cool start we’ll warm into the low to mid 70s in the afternoon with a southerly wind of 6-12 mph under sunny skies.

EXTENDED: Thursday remains sunny and warm with afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 70s to near 80. Thursday afternoon, winds will gust up to 35-40 mph with strongest winds west of HWY 63. We’ll have to watch for a possible wind advisory in our western counties. Friday will bring a chance of rain in the morning through early afternoon with rain amounts from a tenth of an inch to a half inch with higher amounts east of HWY 63. Over the weekend, it’s looking like temperatures will cool back down with highs in the upper 40s Saturday and Sunday. During the day Saturday expect a northwest breeze, with sustained winds of 10-20 mph. A wind chill is expected most of the day, making it feel more like the upper 30s to low 40s. A hard freeze looks likely Sunday morning as temperatures drop into the mid to upper 20s. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
