TONIGHT: It will be mainly clear overnight with temperatures falling to near 40 by morning with light winds.
TUESDAY: It will be warmer with high temperatures reaching the upper 60s under sunny skies. A southwest breeze will increase to near 10 mph by afternoon.
EXTENDED: Wednesday and Thursday remain exceptionally dry and warm with afternoon temperatures reaching into the lower 70s Wednesday and upper 70s Thursday. Thursday afternoon, winds will gust up to 35 mph with strongest winds west of HWY 63. Friday will bring a chance of rain and storms that could bring heavy rain. Rainfall amounts look to range from 0.50″ to 1″ for a wide area of the state. Over the weekend, it’s looking like temperatures will cool back down with highs in the upper 40s Saturday and Sunday. A widespread hard freeze looks likely for areas along and north of I-70 on Sunday morning as temperatures drop into the 20s. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
