Wednesday Morning November 9
TODAY: It will be a chilly morning with clear skies and temperatures in the upper 30s north of I-70, and low 40s south. A Frost Advisory is valid for Chariton and Macon counties through 9AM where plants can be harmed. Patchy fog is possible in low areas where the air is stagnant this morning due to light winds. Temperatures will be in the 40s for a good portion of the morning before slowly warming to the upper 50s this afternoon with light north winds under 6 mph.
TONIGHT: It will stay clear and cool overnight with winds shifting, becoming southwesterly under 5 mph by 9PM. Temperatures will stay in the low 40s for most areas overnight, while areas south of HWY 50 and near I-44 could see temperatures fall to the mid 30s where frost will be possible again. A Frost Advisory will be valid from 2AM-9AM for areas south of HWY 50 including Cole, Camden, Maries, Miller, Phelps, and Pulaski counties.
EXTENDED: We will warm a few degrees Thursday with high temperatures in the low to mid 60s under sunny skies with southwest winds. Another cold front moves through early Friday morning, dropping high temperatures to near 60 Friday and keeping us only in the mid to upper 50s Saturday. The coldest night this week looks to be Friday night. Frost will be likely as temperatures dip into the low to mid 30s. Areas east of HWY 63 and could drop to the freezing mark Friday and Saturday nights. The upcoming weekend looks dry with chilly nights and cool days with high clouds moving in Sunday.
