Wednesday Afternoon, November 9

TODAY: Today will be the first day of many, with plentiful sunshine and gorgeous afternoons. While temperatures started off in the upper 30s and lower 40s this morning, we’ll begin a slow warming pattern this afternoon. Highs later today will top out in the upper 50s with light winds out of the north under 6 mph.

TONIGHT: It will stay clear and cool overnight with winds shifting, becoming southwesterly under 5 mph by 9PM. Temperatures will stay in the low 40s for most areas overnight, while areas south of HWY 50 and near I-44 could see temperatures fall to the mid 30s where frost will be possible again. A Frost Advisory will be valid from 2AM-9AM for areas south of HWY 50 including Cole, Camden, Gasconade, Maries, Miller, Osage, Phelps, and Pulaski counties.

EXTENDED: We will warm a few degrees Thursday with high temperatures in the low to mid 60s under sunny skies with southwest winds. Another cold front moves through early Friday morning, dropping high temperatures to near 60 Friday and keeping us only in the mid to upper 50s Saturday. The coldest night this week looks to be Friday night. Frost will be likely as temperatures dip into the low to mid 30s. Areas east of HWY 63 and could drop to the freezing mark Friday and Saturday nights. The upcoming weekend looks dry with chilly nights and cool days with high clouds moving in Sunday. Monday morning looks to bring a small rain chance mainly from 6AM-9AM. At this time rainfall amounts look to be under .10″. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
