No one injured by ‘wrong way’ driver in Osage Beach

An Osage Beach woman was arrested Monday night after she was driving the wrong way on Highway 54.

According to the report, 53 year-old Lisa Temple-Scott was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, and resisting arrest. Just before 11pm Monday, Osage Beach police received a report that a car was eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 54. The vehicle was spotted by police in the area of Case Road. One officer gave chase, while another alerted motorists ahead.

Police deployed stop sticks about two miles ahead of the driver, and was able to disable the vehicle.

She is being held in the Camden County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
