Lockdown lifted at Lincoln University

ABC 17 News has confirmed a lockdown is over Tuesday night at Lincoln University. At 9:20 p.m., officials confirmed police learned through a concerned caller around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday that someone might be armed and had “expressed plans to harm students.”

That is when the campus was locked down, before the person of interest reported to the university’s police department about 8 p.m., lifting the alert.

The school wanted to remind students who are aware of any suspicious activity or people to contact the Lincoln University Police Department at (573) 681-5555.
