Monday Evening, November 7

TONIGHT: We’ll have scattered showers under cloudy skies with light southerly winds under 8 mph. Low temperatures will drop in the low 50s. Showers will be light with most areas coming in under a quarter of an inch of rain.

TUESDAY: Light showers will be ongoing early in the morning, ending by mid-morning north of I-70 and by 3 pm near I-44 as a cold front moves through. Skies will clear quickly behind the front with northerly winds increasing to 10 mph. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Cooler air moves in Tuesday night, dropping temperatures to near 40 by Wednesday morning. Although skies will be sunny Wednesday, high temperatures will stay cool, in the upper 50s, dropping into the mid to upper 30s Wednesday night. Patchy frost is possible Wednesday night. We will warm a few degrees Thursday under sunny skies but another cold front moves through Friday, dropping temperatures into the 50s during the day for Friday and Saturday. Frost is likely Friday night as temperatures dip into the low to mid 30s. Areas east of HWY 63 and could drop to the freezing mark Friday night.
