Candidates for Missouri Governor travel to Columbia on final day before election

Candidates for Missouri Governor are spending part of their final day campaigning meeting with mid-Missouri voters.

Republican Governor nominee Eric Greitens is scheduled to stop in Columbia as a part of his barnstorming tour.

He will meet with his supporters and volunteers at Columbia Regional Airport at 9:30.

Columbia is one of nine cities the Republican nominee plans to stop in Monday. Other member of the GOP statewide tickets will also join him at some of Moday’s stops.

Democratic nominee Chris Koster will also make an appearance in downtown Columbia. It’s his second stop in the city in just three days.

Koster’s campaign says people should expect to see more volunteers knocking on doors today, encouraging voters to vote for Koster and the entire Democratic ticket.

Koster is expected to stop by the MDP Office at 201 West Broadway, Suite 2A at 10 a.m. There, he’s expected to praise the efforts by the campaign.

Candidates on both sides of the race are encouraging everyone to express their right to vote on Tuesday.

The polls open at 6:00 Tuesday morning. ABC 17 News will have complete coverage of election day, with crews live across the state tomorrow.

KMIZ’s election day coverage starts at 5:00am on ABC 17 News This Morning.
