Two Dixon teens injured in UTV crash
A 15-year-old boy was flown to University Hospital Sunday afternoon after a crashing a utility task vehicle in Maries County.
The Highway Patrol was called to the crash on County Road 511 just west of Highway E around 2 p.m.
Troopers said the 15-year-old overcorrected as the UTV began sliding off the road, which caused the teen to lose control and drive into a ditch. According to the crash report, the UTV overturned.
The 15-year-old was seriously injured in the crash and his 13-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
