County clerks prepare for voter turnout

Cole County officials are preparing for increased voter turnout on Tuesday’s general election.

County Clerk Steve Korsmeyer said more than 3,700 absentee ballots have already been cast.

According to state data, Missouri’s 116 counties are collectively reporting a 2 percent higher voter turnout than the 2008 election.
