Three men indicted for Pulaski County drug conspiracy
Three men were indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday for their roles in a plan to sell methamphetamine in Pulsaki and McDonald counties.
According to the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, Michael Huckabey, 39, and Wesley A. Burrow, 34, both of Noel, and Steven C. McCurley, 50, of Crocker, are charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Springfield.
The indictment accuses Huckabey, Burrow and McCurley of attempting to sell more than 500 grams of methamphetamine in Pulaski and McDonald counties between Dec. 16, 2015, and May 9, 2016.
The charges included in the indictment are an accusation, not evidence of guilt.
Evidence supporting the charges will be presented to a federal grand jury, which will decide guilt or innocence.
The case is being prosecuted by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Jody Larison.
It was investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Waynesville Police Department, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team and the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office.
