Columbia health clinic offers free Halloween candy X-rays

A Columbia health clinic is offering free Halloween candy X-rays tomorrow.

Providence Urgent Care, at 2910 Trimble Road in Columbia, will screen your children’s candy on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

You can have your child’s candy screened by presenting the flier posted on the clinic’s Facebook page.

The center also suggests that parents:

Throw away any unwrapped treats or any candy that looks as if it might have been tampered with. Look for choking hazards such as hard candy and gum, if you have any younger children. Check the ingredients to make sure the treats don’t include anything your child might be allergic to.

If you have any questions about the X-rays, you can call Providence Urgent Care at 573-303-9619 or by visit their website at ProvidenceUrgentCare.com.
