Centralia police arrest man wanted for felony warrants after spike strips stop chase

A man wanted for several felony warrants is in the Boone County Jail after a chase through Boone County.

Centralia police tell ABC 17 News it started around 8:30 Sunday night after an officer spotted a man known to have felony warrants out for his arrest.

Police say officers tried to pull over Tyson Ung, but say he refused to stop and led officers on a chase that went south on Route Z.

Police say the chase eventually ended after Boone County deputies deployed spike strips and officers were able to arrest Ung.

Public charging records show Ung is charged with felony driving with a revoked license and resisting arrest.

Centralia police say they have submitted additional charges for prosecutors to review for Sunday’s chase.
