Camden County deputies searching for burglary suspect

Law enforcement officers continue to search parts of mid-Missouri for a man accused of burglary on Friday night.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were involved in a car chase on Old South 5 near Greenware Road in Camdenton around 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Deputies said the vehicle stopped at a dead end in a cattle field. Three suspects from a Laclede County burglary were taken into custody, but a fourth was able to get away into the nearby woods.

Camden County deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol have been searching areas in response to several reported sightings.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, 30 years old, wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts, who is possibly armed with a gun.

Anyone who sees the suspect is asked not to approach him and contact authorities immediately.

You can report any possible sightings to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office by calling 573-346-2243 or by dialing 911.
