Emergency work scheduled for West Walnut Street
An emergency lane closure is scheduled for West Walnut Street on Thursday morning.
Crews will be closing the eastbound lanes of traffic between Bicknell Street and Aldeah Avenue.
Crews will remove and replace a sewer lateral for a house in the area that is currently without a sanitary sewer.
Crews are asking drivers to use alternate routes if at all possible. The parallel streets to Walnut is Ash and Broadway, those will be open for use.
Drivers are also asked to use extreme caution and to drive slowly if they will be passing the work.
The work is scheduled to end at 5:30 on Thursday evening.
