Jefferson City inmate pronounced dead

John Conway, an inmate at the Jefferson City Correctional Center, was pronounced dead on Oct. 24 at 4:15 p.m.

Conway was 66 years old and serving a 25 year sentenced for second degree murder and armed criminal action in St. Louis City. Conway started his sentence in 2005.

Conway died of “apparent natural causes.”
