Temperatures among coldest yet of season in mid-Missouri
Friday morning, temperatures dropped to the upper 30’s in Mid-Missouri.
While Mid-Missouri has experienced record breaking high temperatures for the past couple of weeks, Friday morning will see temperatures that are lower than average.
Those who park their cars outside will likely see vehicles with condensation stuck to their windshields and windows.
Experts advise drivers allow a car around ten minutes to heat up before putting it in drive. This allows the heat to circulate and clear the windows for safer driving.
Those who plan on stepping outside will want to dress in layers as the temperatures will rise to the 60’s Friday afternoon.
The temperatures are not to freezing levels yet, but dressing warm is necessary.
Our ABC 17 Stormtrack meteorologists say there is also a frost advisory in effect until 8 a.m Friday morning for Macon County. Those in the area may see frost on cars and other places this morning as they head out for the day.
