Child hit by SUV in Mexico, MO
A 6 year old boy is OK after he was hit by an SUV in Mexico, Missouri, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Mexico Department of Public Safety said they responded to the incident in the 900 block of West Street around 5:04 p.m.
The child was riding a bicycle out of a driveway, when he was hit by an SUV driving southbound on West Street.
The department identified the driver as Shelley Harvey, 52, of Mexico.
Officers said the boy received minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
Charges have not been filed.
