Man with gang ties sentenced in Columbia
Tavion Jones was sentenced to 7 years in prison on two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
Jones pleaded guilty to all counts.
Jones is no stranger to authorities. He claims to associate with the gang, “Squad up,” in Columbia and has been involved in multiple shootings. He was also one of the shooters in a 2014 Jefferson City drive-by shooting.
