TODAY: Sprinkles are possible through 6AM. There will be some mid level clouds this morning with increasing sun and temperatures 10 degrees above normal near 80. Skies will be mostly sunny in the afternoon with a south breeze up to 10 mph.
TONIGHT: Clouds look to increase ahead of the next storm system to bring a slight rain chance overnight. Rain looks to develop by 2AM-3AM mainly west of US 63 and north of I-70 through Wednesday morning. Temperatures will stay well above normal in the low 60s with south/southwesterly winds under 8 mph.
EXTENDED: Scattered showers and t-storms are likely Wednesday afternoon as a cold front moves in. These will move southeast and out of our area Wednesday evening by 10 PM near I-44. Rainfall totals are expected to be heaviest along I-70 and I-44 with amounts of .50- 1.0″. Chilly conditions return after the front passes with lows overnight on Wednesday dropping to the lower 40s and high temperatures Thursday near 60. Another chance of showers moves in Thursday night and Friday with high temperatures reaching the lower 60s Friday.
