Deputy involved shooting suspect scheduled for sentencing

Joshua Huddleston, 28, was scheduled for sentencing at 9: 00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Huddleston was drunk at a business East of Jefferson City and threatened a group of people with a gun. When people in the group took off running, Huddleston fired off a single shot.

Authorities responded to the scene, where they say Huddleston made a threatening move toward them. The deputy proceeded to shoot Huddleston.

ABC 17 News has reached out to prosecutors to find out the results of the sentencing, and we are still waiting to hear back.
