Columbia police investigate early morning shooting on Oak Street

Columbia police confirm one house was struck by bullets Sunday morning on the 400 block of Oak Street.

Officers responded to a shots fired call at about 1:00 a.m and located shell casings between 409 and 411 Oak Street.

Police said in a press release that they did not find any bullets inside the home.

There are no reports of any injuries or suspect information and the investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information about the incident, Columbia police ask them to call the Columbia Police Department or Crimestoppers at 875-TIPS.
