Update: Both lanes of eastbound I-70 open after crash shut down interstate west of Danville
UPDATE 8:12am: ABC 17 News talked to a trooper on scene who says a driver suffered minor injuries in the crash on eastbound I-70 Friday.
They say semi truck driver was run off the road by another vehicle, causing the semi to overturn and block both lanes of the interstate.
Troopers say another semi driver then hit the overturned semi. This driver apparently suffered minor injuries in the collision.
A third semi driver also clipped the overturned trailer, but neither that driver or the one in the overturned semi were hurt.
The overturned truck apparently sustained extensive damage and frozen dinners were left scattered across the interstate.
Our ABC 17 News crew says a bull dozer is clean the road now.
UPDATE 7:36am: Both lanes of eastbound I-70 are now reopened. A tractor trailer is still sitting on the side of the road.
UPDATE 6:05am: Our ABC 17 News crews say authorities have reopened one lane of I-70 eastbound and say traffic is now able to get around the wreck.
They say they saw two tractor trailers with heavy front end/cabin damage. They say third was overturned on its side.
Our crews say they saw a ambulance leaving the area with lights and sirens on when they first got stuck in the back-up.
