Thursday evening, October

TONIGHT: Storms will continue to move east across Mid-Missouri and weaken by early morning. A few strong storms are possible with wind gusts to 50 mph but severe storms are not expected overnight. Low temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 50s by morning.

FRIDAY: Morning showers east of HWY 63 end with clouds clearing through the day. Temperatures will be cooler, reaching the low to mid 60s with a north breeze near 10 mph, diminishing to under 5 mph in the evening. It will be cool and dry for high school football games with temperatures falling through the 50s in the evening hours.

EXTENDED: After a cool morning, Saturday afternoon will be mild with high temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 with sunny skies and light winds. Winds will shift to the south Sunday, bringing afternoon temperatures up into the lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Next week starts off quiet with high temperatures warming into the mid to upper 70s. Our next slight chance of rain moves in next Wednesday.
